The fiber combiner invented, including crude fiber and a plurality of fine fiber; is characterized in that: the crude fiber is provided with a plurality of conical cavity for setting fine fiber, one end of each fine fiber are provided with conical head with conical cavity, fine fiber is arranged on the other end of a semiconductor laser. The methods of the present invention include:
A) taper heads are produced at the ends of thin fibers;
B) a tapered cavity is produced in a coarse optical fiber;
C) insert a fine fiber into a coarse optical fiber;
D) multiple fine fibers are implanted in the same coarse fiber.
The invention discloses an optical fiber beam combiner and a manufacturing method of an optical communication invention, which can effectively combine the laser generated by a plurality of semiconductor lasers into a coarse optical fiber, and reduce the laser loss through a conical surface.
